Utilo

Terms of Use

Last updated: 2026-10-11

These terms apply to your use of Utilo, including all tools and articles on this website. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

The service

Utilo provides free developer utilities such as formatters, converters, generators and calculators, together with guides that explain how to use them. The tools run in your web browser. Data you enter into a tool is processed on your device and is not uploaded to our servers.

Acceptable use

You may use the tools for personal and commercial purposes. You agree not to misuse the site, for example by attempting to disrupt its operation, overloading it with automated requests, probing it for vulnerabilities without permission, or using it for any unlawful activity.

Your content

You keep all rights to the data you enter and the output you create. Because processing happens locally, we do not have access to your input. You are responsible for making sure you have the right to use any data you process.

Accuracy and no warranty

We work hard to make the tools correct and the guides accurate, but the site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Results may contain errors, and articles may become outdated as standards and software change. Always verify important results, especially before using them in production systems, legal documents, financial calculations or safety-relevant contexts.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Utilo and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, profits or business arising from your use of the site or its tools.

Third-party services and advertising

The site uses third-party services such as analytics and advertising, including Google AdSense. These services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Links to external websites are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content.

Intellectual property

The site design, text and code are protected by copyright. You may quote short passages of our articles with a link to the source. Generated output such as QR codes, barcodes, hashes and converted data belongs to you.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last changed. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated terms.
